The Team

All members of the culinary team that represent Eurotoques Cyprus, are volunteers and use their free time to practice and plan the team activities - such as presentations to colleges and competitions. The Culinary team consist of the follow members:

Savvas Savva

Savvas Savvas is the Chef of the The Shop Souvlaki Etc.He is also a Culinary Instructor at the Technical School of Larnaca. He has experience in many restaurants and hotels in Cyprus such as: Le Meridien Limassol Spa and Resorts, Amathus Beach Hotel, Archontiko Papadopoulou, and The Palm Beach Hotel. He is member in Slow Food International, World Association of Chefs Society and Cyprus Chefs Association His special love about the traditional Cypriot cuisine and the spread of it, made him participate in many domestic and international culinary competitions such as: International Open Air Cooking Championship in Romania, Mediterranean Culinary Challenge Gastronomia in Cyprus, International Young Chef Challenge in Korea, International Culinary Competition of Southern Europe in Thessaloniki, Escoer Challenge Ecosse in Scotland, International Istanbul Gastronomy Festival in Turkey.

George Pishilis

George currently a Cookery and Pastry Instructor at Kes College, Nicosia, has worked in various hotels mostly in the confectionery. Most notable position, Pastry chef at Cavo maris(A three star Hotel) based in Protaras. George has won several awards and participated in numerous competitions as a EuroToques Cyprus member.

Andonis Kyriakou

Anthony despite he is still a student at Kes college, Nicosia for Food Preparation and Culinary Arts he already worked in various restaurants of Nicosia in various positions. Some are: Jackson Hall, Mamasita, C House, Pralina restaurant and more. Anthony has taken part in various gastronomy competitions and has captured the best available price as he won the gold prize in gastronomy in Moldova in 2013 for Student Chef of the Year.

Chrisanthos Agathangelou

Chrysanthos Agathangelou currently a Food preparation and culinary arts student at kes college, has worked in famous restaurants and hotels at the position of cook. Most notable position, cook at atlantica miramare hotel that is happened to be a 4 star resort in limmasol. Chrysanthos is participating in many culinary competitions worldwide every year. His most notable award is silver medal at instabul gastronomy festival 2013 at the category "junior golden chef of the year " Chrysanthos Also participated in euroskills in 2013 with great results.

Pantelis Sofokleous

Pantelis Sofokleous is currently a chef at Sans Frontieres Catering Services.  Has worked in Hawai-Grand Resort in Limassol. Also he consulted and managed "Panos Solomonidis" cafe-restaurant in limassol, and "Entheto" (Dimosiografiki estia) in Nicosia.  He has also taken part in many international and domestic professional culinary competitions with a total of 14 awards. 

Andreas Yordan Yordanov

Has previously worked in Hawaii Grand Resord, Head chef at Sans Frontier, Head chef in various Restaurants (d-Blue,Dianoche, Boho Chic Tabas Bar & Restaurant). Currently he works in Amathus Beach Hotel 5 stars. He is an active person, with 12 international awards and domestic chef competitions. One of them: Runner up for Best Mediterranean chef cup
